  • elect new Ward Officers 2 year term
  • elect new County Central Committee 2 year term
  • elect new County Party Officers 2 year term
  • elect new members to State Central Committee 2 year term
2020 Elections & Conventions

New Mexico Legislative Session – 30 days Focus on the Budget

2020 Elections
  • Presidential
  • Congressional always a 2-year term
  • State House Elections always a 2-year term
  • State Senate Elections every 4-years (next election 2024)
  • County Clerk (4 year term)
  • County Treasurer (4 year term)
  • County Commission (Districts 2, 4, and 5; 4 year term)
2020 County Conventions
  • Pre-Primary To elect DELEGATES to State Pre-Primary – February 1, 2020 (see home page for Official Call)
  • Quadrennial To elect DELEGATES to State Quadrennial
2020 State Conventions
  • Pre-Primary To establish eligibility to be on the primary ballot – 20% rule – March 7, 2020
  • Quadrennial To elect DELEGATES to NATIONAL Convention
  • Platform Convention – Called by the State Chairman to review National Platform
